For decades, our environmental focus has been on the large global issues like the greenhouse effect, global warming, deforestation, air pollution, and water pollution. All of which play a vital role in our overall survival, however, when it comes to our personal health we need to understand how our environment affects us.
Every environment that surrounds us is going to contain some type of contaminant that will affect our health. What we need to understand and embrace is that the likelihood of any adverse effect generally comes down to the length of time that we are exposed or subjected to any given contaminants.
Now lets think about how long we were outside today. Most studies reveal that the average American spends about 10% of their time outdoors, while the majority of our time (80-90%) is spent at home, at work, or in vehicles (For the average worker it breaks down to 60% at home, 30% at work, and 5% commuting, a full-time homemaker spends up to 85% at home, and most elderly spend more than 95% of their time in their residences). Obviously it is the indoor or closed environments that pose the greatest risk to our individual health. The exciting news is that we personally have the most control over the biggest environmental threat that we face today – our indoor environment.
Everything that enters into our indoor environement becomes another factor that can positively or negatively affect our health. From the furniture we purchase, the chemicals we use to clean, the cosmetic products we put on ourselves to even the air that enters from outdoors, everything has some impact on us.
The Zerorez cleaning system that was developed originally for carpet cleaning does not introduce any new chemicals or contaminants into your living space. In fact the cleaning removes the toxins, germs, and chemicals that have built up over time, and have been decreasing the health and vitality of your precious living space.

As individuals, we have a primary need that rises above all others: the need of survival. Second to this innate need to survive, is the need for good health, which will largely determine our comfort, self-image, productivity, relaxation, and fulfillment that we get out of life. Hence, we find ourselves in this "Green” movement seeking greater and better health.
Cleaning is for Survival and Good Health
As humans, we have always understood the necessity of a good healthy environment in order to survive and to promote better health. Once settlements began to develop and our ancestors no longer roamed the planet leaving their waste behind for nature to cleanup, they began to “clean” their environments by burying their waste. As settlements got larger, waste management became more and more important.
It was not until about 200 years ago that we, as humans, learned what sanitization and controlling germs was all about. First we discovered germs and that those germs spread. We learned to minimize germs by removing stale air, getting rid of standing water, controlling rodents, and removing trash. We discovered that cleaner environments meant better survival and healthier bodies.
The evolution of cleaning came from our primary need and desire to preserve life, and promote health. The results of our cleaning efforts have greatly extended our life spans and elevated the quality of our lives that we now enjoy today.
Green Cleaning is the Next Level of Clean
We know how to clean, how to sanitize, and how to disinfect our living environments, but now we find that these common cleaning chemicals leave behind residues. Most of these residues, we have come to find out, have a negative impact on our health. The only solution is to find alternative methods to cleaning, that eliminate the wastes in our environment but don't impact our quality of health.
Zerorez is a pioneer in the field of green cleaning and has the only lab tested, and proven carpet cleaning method that leaves no residue behind. This no residue or zero residue cleaning is so effective, that it is the only right way to clean our indoor environments. Everything else leaves some kind of chemical residue behind, which will definately leave some kind of impression on the health of our bodies. With Zerorez there is nothing left but clean. Nothing is greener and nothing can be better for our health.

We all are surrounded and bombarded by advertisements everyday promising us the world in exchange for a few bucks. Many times after using the service or product and all the hype settles down, we begin to realize that it wasn't so different or as unique as we were led on to believe.
Today if we look at carpet cleaning, virtually everyone says that they leave "no sticky residue", "no soapy residue", or some even blatantly claim "no residue" in their carpet cleaning. It makes the whole idea of no residue carpet cleaning become something that you just accept as the norm - everyone offers it.
For a second, think about washing your hair. If you have shorter hair, imagine it was long. Now think about the amount of shampoo you put into your hair to wash it and get everything good and sudsy. Now think about rinsing it out. If you have long hair it will take some serious work. The soap sticks to everything, and it is on every strand of hair. The only way to remove all the shampoo is with gallons of plain water.
Carpet cleaning is actually quite similar. In a carpet fiber, you can have over a hundred filaments in one bundle wrap or yarn of the carpet. That means you have thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of filaments (like individual hair strands) in just 1 square foot of carpeting. Now imagine getting soap or a detergent locked up in that. It would take some serious rinsing, just like our own hair. In reality, our last carpet cleaners probably left something behind (unless it was Zerorez®). In fact if they were good, they probably did an acid rinse to neutralize their residue to leave us with softer carpet, but did they even attempt a clean water rinse after that?
Well, each day at Zerorez®, we get the question, how do you clean without soaps, detergents, shampoos, or surfactants? The secret is our empowered water™ technology. This technology is essentially water that has been electrolyzed and oxidized, which makes it an incredible cleaning agent.
Today, I found a nine minute video on youtube that explains the power of this water in a fun, and entertaining way. Although the technology is not completely identical, the root technology behind the water is.
So the way that Zerorez® can make claim to no residue carpet cleaning, comes from the fact that our cleaning agent is literally free of all soaps, detergents, surfactants, and shampoo. It is empowered water™ technology that is completely non-toxic, green, and leaves no residue behind in your carpet.
Until you try us out, it probably will be hard to believe.
